What a crazy past two weeks it has been. Finished off my class with a 93%, mark and anna came home for a few days before Christmas-consisting of the DIA, Wicked, and an early Christmas- 55% of the way to a new ipod touch :), visited anna the 25-27th and on my way home mark proposed to her so that wedding is determined to be june 9th. It didn't snow on Christmas but there is some on the ground at the moment, sadly not enough to go trapsing through with it all the way up to your knees or even past the top of the shoes. Bekah and I head off to Barakel next weekend for the College/Career retreat, really excited about that since it may be the last time I go up there for a while. Work is annoying as usual and I might quit soon cause no way will I be able to last through school and the summer with these people. Finally, I think, a few mondays ago I sent in my application to Johnson and Wales Denver Campus for next fall. So just waiting to hear back from them on that and hopefully by the end of January. It would be a God send if that went through and I was able to move out there :) So that's the past few weeks in a nutshell.
Started work on the second sock and hope to have that done by probably the end of february. Made a scarf for the angel tree at church and a beret from a travel box set, they are both quite pretty :) Still haven't finished the blanket I was making for Bridgitte and Chad's wedding, it may take a loooong while to get done. So pumped for classes next semester with all the knowledge I'll comprehend and the people I'll meet.

Ugh
Dad and I leave for NC early tuesday evening and drive until cincinatti. Then we finish the rest of the way wednesday; and I can't drive any of it because he has a stick and yeah, not knowledgeable on that front. So excited to see anna and other good friends. Have work tomorrow though and still need to clean some of the house before leaving, and pack; this'll be fun. Anywho, thats that. Happy Thankgiving to all. Oh and yeah, most recent knitting project, finished it in a few hours.

Shipshewana
Didn't have work today, so mom and I headed down to Shipshewana, IN. Love it down there. Not only are the guys pretty good looking, but it's just nice to move at a slower calmer pace. We went to Lolly's Fabrics and picked out some stuff for a few projects. Got some of the best pretzels in that area, then over to Yoders AND GUESS WHAT:), I found an amazingly modest denim type skirt. Even at the hips it still hits almost mid calf! Granted yes this is an amish/mennonite community, but still. I was so excited and plan on wearing it to church tomorrow.
Stopped by Ikea after work on thursday and bought a lovely little storage unit. It's a two by two unit and is little under a yard tall. Put that together and now holds some books, bit of knitting paraphenalia (sp?), cds, and dvds. So anywho. Gonna be a busy week. Thursday off but scheduled to open the next day :( Heading down to NC for thanksgiving!

My right foot is cold :(
One sock is done! and it fits my left foot better than the right one. It took a little over a month between school and work, but hopefully I'll have the other one done by Christmas *knock on wood*.

Operation Christmas Child
The family used to do these all the time, around this time of year, but along with other things we haven't gotten around to doing them lately. My older sister did a few this year and amongst them were three for infants. I offered to make hats that match the "theme" of the box, and here is the first one. It's a simple baby hat pattern, but turns out so cute. Excited to do the other two.

Put on socks, it'll keep your head warm
Has anyone ever noticed how once you put on a hat your feet get warm or vice versa? Anywho, it was an eventful summer, but I'm glad to be home in a warm full size bed with windows that don't have a mind of their own and decide to close in the middle of the night. Had started on a pair of socks from Vogue Knittings 2010 fall issue, but ripped those out few weeks ago and am now working on a pair of entrelac socks; with all prospects of having the first one done little after thanksgiving.
The blanket is not even close to being done, but if I get tired of basketweaving it will be plan b. On terms of photography. I went down to the waterfront, before breakfast, a few times during the summer and this is possibly my most favorite picture. It was taken a bit earlier than some others and that's probably why there is still a bit of mist rising off the lake.

Started and eternally there
Created this account few months ago and I'm just writing on it for the first time, wow. Since learning how to knit I have made numerous hats, a Harry Potter House Sweater, Vogue Knitting sweater gone vest style, few scarves here and there, dishcloths, pair of legwarmers, 2 mini sweater ornaments, a bag, a pair of foot undies, working on a pair of socks and a blanket right now. Terms of photography I take random pictures, but mostly more purposeful and abstract in the last four years. Hope to make two skirts by the time I leave for a camp on the 31st. So, this will probably be the last post until I can get on to a computer after coming home from camp; gonna be a long but fulfilling summer.
